Hiab Transport

HIAB transporters have a built in crane which can be used to lift containers on and off of the vehicle, ideal for use when a loading/unloading site doesn’t have the capabilities to load a container when it is on the trailer or the equipment to lower it to the ground.

Standard Trailer

Generally containers are moved on standard trailers, otherwise known as ‘skeletal-trailers’ or ‘skellies’. These require loading facilities to have either loading bays or ramps, or the equipment to lift the containers off of the trailer to put it on the ground for loading.
